About: 1-800-Volunteer.org is a national database of volunteer opportunities powered by a volunteer management system for non-profits. Search for opportunities, organizations and events right from the homepage, then create a free account to express your interest in a particular cause. Non-profits and volunteer centers can also sign up to be part of a network which already includes more than 28,000 organizations.
Take Action: Simply visit the homepage to conduct a search, or browse lists of volunteer centers and organizations. Under the About section, you can find the number of organizations, opportunities, and volunteers currently using the site.
